West TN Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital
It was an exciting day as the West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital had their Grand Opening/Ribbon Cutting ceremony for the new Cardiac Unit/Pulmonary Unit. Both City Mayor John Holden and County Mayor Chris Young were in attendance for this big event, as well as the Medical Director over the cardiac/pulmonary unit William McKee, MD, Cardiologist Dr. Weinstein and CEO of West TN Hospital Reba Celsor. The Dyer County Chamber of Commerce hosted this event and many of our local residents and Chamber members were in attendance.

Providigm’s Embracing Quality Awards Program recently awarded our team with its Advanced Accreditation honor and the Embracing Quality Award for Customer Satisfaction. The industry award recognizes skilled nursing centers across the United States and Canada for achieving outstanding quality outcomes. Providigm’s Quality Assurance Performance Improvement program awards accreditation to top performing nursing homes and centers for a commitment to quality and excellence.

Signature residents ‘catch a wave to adventure’ on Florida trip
“You never get too old to enjoy life,†said a 91-year-old Signature resident who traveled to Panama City Beach, Fla. earlier this year, the fourth consecutive year Signature has taken groups of residents on vacation. On May 13th, our elders traveled to Panama City Beach for our yearly Elder Vacation. Elder Thomas got to meet Mayor Gayle Oberst. This was also his first flight. He said he really enjoyed being on the beach. Quality of Life Director Robin Cantara, and her amazing quality of life team, traveled with the elders for this fun vacation!
Super Bowl 2015
We had a Super Bowl Blow Out Party here at The Bridge at Ridgely. The elders all pulled for their favorite team and feasted on all of their favorite munchies!
